Sharon Wood opened Grand Central Consignment in August 1996 with the goal to provide the Plus Size woman a source for fashionable clothing and accessories so they could look their very best without paying high retail prices, and that goal has certainly been reached and exceeded.

From their humble beginnings in a tiny store on 12th Street in New Westminster, Grand Central moved to larger premises and has undergone two further expansions at their current location. We now offer over 3000 square feet of boutique style consignment shopping. Originally carrying clothing in sizes 14 and over only, we received so many requests from our customers and ladies who wanted to shop and consign with us, that in 2006 we changed our size range to exclusively for sizes 10 and over.

We offer quality, very gently used clothing in all your favorite labels, from casual wear, business attire, formal wear and everything in between at incredible savings. There is also a fantastic selection of new and consignment accessory items – purses, shoes, jewelry, scarves, lingerie etc. With a consistently fast turnaround and approximately 100 “new” consignment items arriving daily, there is always something new and exciting to see, and that perfect addition to your wardrobe may be waiting for you. Consignment is also the prefect way to make some extra cash by cleaning out those items in your closet that you no longer wear – they may be just what someone is looking for.
